How long does your process take?
A regular tub takes between 4-6 hours, on average. Tub and surrounds can take anywhere from 6-10 hours, depending on condition of the unit. Except in rare circumstances, a job will be completed on the same day.
How long do I need to wait before I can use my tub/shower again?
The finished reglazing requires at least 72 hours (3 days) for proper cure time, before use.
How much does it cost?
A tub refinishing generally starts around $550, and a tub/surround will generally start around $800, depending on the condition of the unit. For an exact quote & turnaround time, feel free to contact our office at the below form.
What kind of work do you do?
Our process is restoring worn porcelain bathtubs, sinks, ceramic tile walls, fiberglass surfaces and countertops, WITHOUT removing the item. That’s right, all work is done on location, without disturbing the walls, floors or plumbing fixtures surrounding the fixture.
Is this a permanent solution?
Our refinishing solution normally lasts 3-5 years, with normal use and wear. In some cases, units can last twice as long, with the proper care and maintenance.
Is the materials toxic?
The “Old School” method of refinishing bathtubs entails the use of toxic acid etching compounds and grinding your old surface that many imitators still utilize. The last thing you want is someone trying to get a “PAINT” to stick to your bathtub by trying to adapt the tub for the paint.
Our glazing products have been developed specifically for porcelain refinishing. The glaze materials we use have been both developed, and tested, to be both safe, and non-toxic.
Do you have a guarantee or warranty?
We offer a one year warranty on workmanship.
